I have a working relationship with April Bensley, and have been her go-to photographer for her previous ‘Sould Out’ events over the years. I pitched her the idea of filming a short documentary about the culture and ethos behind SouldOut and worked with her on the planning and execution of the documentary at their last event in the Cluny in 2024. She has since applied for Arts Council Funding, which I think will be greatly assisted by the documentary, which includes local artists and musicians speaking about the importance of such events to the local economy and industries.
